Alert settings

Parameters may be grouped according to alert types:

«Target Margin Level reached» parameters

The parameters imply choosing a condition from the drop-down list and setting the value which triggers an alert.

«Order activation», «Activation of Trailing Stop», «Order Execution» parameters

The parameters allow a user to select order an alert will be applied to.

«Target Price Level reached» parameters

  1. Drop-down list allowing a user to choose an instrument the alert will be applied to.
  2. Drop-down list allowing a user to choose the price type: Ask, Bid or Mid.
  3. Drop-down list allowing a user to choose a comparison operation between the current price of the selected instrument and the specified price value. (“Condition”).
  4. Field for setting price value.

«Price Change» parameters

  1. Drop-down list allowing a user to choose an instrument the alert will be applied to.
  2. Drop-down list allowing a user to choose the price type: Ask, Bid or Mid.
  3. Drop-down list allowing a user to choose an interval within which the price should change.
  4. Price deviation value.

«Target Position Profit/Loss reached» parameters

  1. Drop-down list allowing a user to choose an open position the alert will be applied to.
  2. Drop-down list allowing a user to choose a comparison operation between the current price and the specified Profit/Loss level for the selected position (“Condition”).
  3. Field for setting Profit/Loss value the current price will be compared to.

«Alarm clock» parameters

The parameters allow a user to select the date and time for triggering an alert (“Select destination DateTime”).

General alert parameters

General alert parameters are set by customizing the following elements:

  1. The checkbox for displaying the corresponding message window (“Show message window”).
  2. The group of elements responsible for sound notifications.
    • 2.1 The drop-down list allowing a user to choose an audio file played when alert triggers.
    • 2.2 The “Browse” button for adding an audio file to the list.
    • 2.3 The “Check” button to play the chosen audio file.
  3. The group of elements responsible for repeating alerts. These elements are activated by marking the “Repeat notification” checkbox.
    • 3.1 Number of repetitions when an alert is triggered.
    • 3.2. Repetition interval in seconds.
  4. The group of elements responsible for alert activity limitations.
    • 4.1. The checkbox for single alert triggering (“Finish after the first actuation”).
    • 4.2. The checkbox for setting expiration time and the drop-down list allowing a user to choose a unit of measurement.
    • 4.3. The field displaying general time until the alert is active, according to the expiration time set (“Valid through”).
